Lew’s To Do’s: No.4

It feels like yesterday when Ekin-Su and Davide were crowned the winners of last year’s Love Island. Somehow, it’s already back. It seems a tad overkill to broadcast two series a year, especially forcing us to watch people in the sun when it’s sub zero temperatures here. However, this season is the first to be hosted by Maya Jama – which is reason enough alone for me to tune in.

The original three babes are back, on Christmas Eve dropping their previously unreleased album titled ‘The Lost Tapes’. This album included their 2013 lost track “Flatline” which vanished from streaming due to legal issues. The stand-out track from the album for me is “Drum”.

There were a lot of questionable, and boring, looks from the 2023 Golden Globes, but my favourite look of the evening came from someone I did not expect. Liza Koshy stunned in an Atelier gown, with a low scooping back to reveal a lace thong paired with a vintage Dior necklace. Chef’s kiss.

British brand JW Anderson has teamed up with Wellipets to create a slip-on frog slipper. This comes as no surprise after their release of the viral pigeon clutch bag previously in 2022. These shoes are no different, finding that perfect balance between kooky and wearable.

Franchesca is about to become your new obsession. Posting candid TikTok’s including ‘get ready with mes’, outfit DIYs, hauls and life rants, she will be making you giggle and wishing that a TikTok could go on longer than a minute. 

If you didn’t know, The 1975’s Matty Healy’s parents are none other than Les from Benidorm and Denise Welch. Denise has been seen supporting her son along the UK leg of the band’s tour, and even has hanging out with Taylor Swift backstage after her surprise appearance at their O2 show.

DSquared took to Milan fashion week to showcase their Fall 2023 collection. The show was inspired by the nostalgia of American teenage culture and saw Alton Mason and Alex Consani amongst the models to take the runway. The looks were extremely fun and flirty, with chaps, clashing patterns and graphic camis.
