Mar Omin makes a return with emotive new release, “Little Bird” in the run-up to his debut full-length album ‘Extricate’.

Mar Omin is a singer and producer from Amsterdam currently working towards his solo music project. Returning three years after his last release, Mar is back, this time with a captivating new single “Little Bird”. Composed, produced and written entirely by Mar himself, this track comes alongside the news of his forthcoming debut album ‘Extricate’.

Having already shared a handful of EPs and singles, Mar’s new album comes as the artist’s first full-length project. Eagerly teased by his brand-new single, “Little Bird” is a reflective release about self-loathing and is a product overseen by guitarist Daniel Malet, assisting vocalist Szjerdene (Bonobo / Lapalux), and features nonchalant cello and string work from Sander Molder.

Speaking about his new release Mar says: “Little Bird is about the interaction I experience between me and my negative self-belief, personified. It’s about how the negativity wants to keep me insecure and feeling low and feeds off that energy. The vocals in the verses and the bridge represent me, the pre-hooks and hooks are the voice of the negative me”.
