It’s only the early days of 2020 and yet it seems like the Liverpool via the stars artist Jetta is here to claim what is rightfully hers with the emotive and transcendent banger that is ‘Livin”.

 

I mean, when you take into account that Jetta is about to go platinum in America and is mentored by one of the studio masterminds behind Destiny’s Child and Mary J Blige, where else can Jetta go but into the stratosphere? The latest anthem by the creative mastermind is a combination of the 90s golden days and the futuristic new generation pop goddesses.

 

Jetta’s motto in life is “expression without limits” and in the ‘Livin’ video she reinforces that very motto. Appearing as a cyber Gwen Stefani in a floor-length blue coat infused with dashes of Gaga, it’s clear Jetta is honouring those who have came before her. Ultimately, her song for shaking off the bad vibes, says Jetta, which is the best way to start the new decade off. “We all need that message right now,” she continues, “we need some escapism. I’m a 90s child and it was such a feel-good time, in terms of UK garage and so much of the dance music then. I really wanted to tap into that.”
