Taking place in the Balearic Islands, Mallorca Live will be headlined by The Kooks, Black Eyed Peas and The Chemical Brothers.

Since its inception six years ago, Mallorca Live has become the most important festival on the Balearic Islands. Taking place between 18-20 May, in the beautiful Calviá region, the three-day sun-soaked party invites revellers to some of Europe’s best beaches, and promises them an eclectic lineup of DJs, bands and performers.

Kicking off on Thursday, British indie veterans The Kooks will headline the first night, bringing their unique brand of jangly guitar music off the coast of Spain. Ibiza legend Sven Väth will take to the electronic music stage in honour of his party ‘Cocoon’, which has been synonymous with Amnesia Club for over two decades.

Set to return, Peggy Gou joins the bill on Friday alongside a host of world music talent. From the Peruvian rhythms of Dengue Dengue Dengue to the Latin funk grooves of bosq, a plethora of cosmic sounds will be heard around the island throughout the day. Headlining the second night will be Grammy-winners and record-breaker’s Black-Eyed Peas.

If that wasn’t enough, seminal Manchester DJ duo The Chemical Brothers will close out the sixth edition, promising a set of acidic classics and new singles taken from their forthcoming album. Those looking for some more four-to-the-floor action can revel in the techno thumps of Helena Hauff, while others can bask in the evangelical afrobeat of Seun Kuti and Egypt 80.
