Blithe's new pop single exudes refreshingly bold star power.

A rising star on the UK scene, Blithe, shares a new wave of infectious pop energy with her latest single, “Masochistic”. Moving to London from Rugby at 16 to pursue a career in music, Blithe has hustled her way to fame with bold enthusiasm and steadfast conviction. Her music reflects her upbringing on Mariah, garage and her mother’s mixtape CDs, and the influence of contemporary pop icons such as Janelle Monae and Miley Cyrus.

Her latest track, “Masochistic”, is an upbeat pop riff that captures a long-term relationship gone wrong, with all the emotional highs and lows that come along with that. The track is refreshingly open, sex-oriented, and fun. On the candidness she conveys in her music, Blithe says that vulnerability is empowering and honesty is sexy. We couldn’t agree more.

Having just performed to a sold-out debut show at The Curtain and played the BBC stage at The Great Escape Festival, Blithe is on a roll that shows no sign of stopping. We hear there’s a second EP up for release very soon and we can’t wait to add more tracks from this irrepressible talent to our summer playlists.
