LA-based pop duo, Valencia, drop their new single, "Not At My Best", where they sing about accepting their imperfections.

Beginning with a gentle piano, Valencia’s Jadeyn Madsen’s throaty vocals breeze over the building electro-pop production, until bandmate Lou Courts joins her for the chorus. They harmonise seamlessly until Lou takes his verse and the song continues to climb. It’s an emotional yet addictive number that grows on you after just one listen.

On the new track, Lou and Jadeyn team up with Alex Angelo, who has toured with Shawn Mendes, Fifth Harmony, Austin Mahone and Jake Miller). Valencia explains that “Not At My Best” is about recognising “that nobody is perfect. It’s okay to screw up and still want to be able to move on and accept love back into your life”.

After Lou relocated from London to LA, he met Valencia bandmate Jadeyn. Together, they’ve been releasing music since 2019, racking up hundreds of thousands of streams. “Not At My Best” is their fifth single.
