International LA-based duet Valencia return with a gut-wrenching new single, “So Sober”.

The LA pairing made up of California’s Jadeyn Madsen and London’s Lou Courts, Valencia’s ripe tracks have already been picked for Apple Music editorial playlists and Spotify playlists, as well as winning them press acclaim.

Now, the duo return with an emotional offering, “So Sober”, which stays true to their freshly candid style. Supercharged violins, heart-rending piano, and a pulsing dance beat combine for a compelling track. The single is in collaboration with producer Alex Angelo, who has also worked with the likes of Shawn Mendes, and Fifth Harmony.

Valencia has said: “This song is for anyone who’s ever been going through it. ‘So Sober’ is about working through the hardship; coming back from the low points in life (losing a job, or a terrible breakup) and when you’re trying to drown it all out, you find someone or something that makes you want to keep going.” Sounds like exactly what we need right now.
