Defected has announced a brand new festival for 2022, preparing to head to Malta for a weekend of partying in the Mediterranean this October.
Since launching its award-winning Defected Croatia festival in 2016, London-based Defected has been known internationally for festival curation and production. Preparing for a long summer of house music, the team have announced that a brand new festival in Malta will be joining the ever-expanding repertoire of events and festivals.
Defected Malta kicks off on Friday the 7th of October 2022, and is due to consist of a long weekend and night parties. Music will run from 12pm to 4am, with stages curated by Defected, Glitterbox, Classic Music Company, Sondela and 4 To The Floor. Party goers can expect household headline acts alongside the rising stars of the scene and underground names on the line-up, due to be announced soon.
Expect an idyllic location and white sandy beaches, as well as venues that include lux beach club Café del Mar, the colossal, multi-room venue UNO and, unexpected pop-up parties that make the most of the location’s surroundings.
