Producer and DJ extraordinaire, Jax Jones, picks 10Trax for Notion that he's got on repeat at the moment as he drops his new single "i miss u" with Au/Ra.
Jax Jones knows how to make a hit. With tens (if not hundreds) of millions of streams on almost every single one of his tracks, the dance music DJ, producer and multi-instrumentalist has collaborated with everyone from RAYE to Bebe Rexha, Stefflon Don, Mabel and Demi Lovato to name just a few. Now, he’s teamed up with Au/Ra for the banger “i miss u”.
No stranger to topping the charts, it’s no wonder Jax has been nominated for Ivor, BRIT and GRAMMY awards, following the success of his debut album ‘Snacks’ -named the best-selling dance album of last year.
Returning to his club and underground roots for “i miss u”, Notion 85 cover star Jax Jones serves up colder beats than we’re used to. Blended with goosebump-inducing vocals from the German singer-songwriter Au/Ra, it’s made for the club.
Speaking on the new single, Jax Jones said: “‘i miss u’ takes it back to my roots with the signature Jax Jones club sound, as much as I love my upbeat dance-pop records it’s fun to mix some melancholy in now and again. ‘I miss u’ couldn’t ring truer at this very moment, there’s so much stuff I miss in the world right now like not being able to play this song live but it feels good to give my fans new music”.
