DJ, producer, and remixer Sigala knows how to make a hit. From his early hits – the tropical dance anthem “Easy Love” and feelgood number “Sweet Lovin” in 2015 – to collaborations with some of the world’s biggest musicians, Sigala’s music is rarely ever out of the charts.
Having worked with the likes of Nile Rodgers, John Newman, Ella Eyre, DJ Zinc, Craig David, to The Vamps, Paloma Faith, and more, he’s now teamed up with beloved crooner James Arthur for the new song “Lasting Lover”.
Marking his 7th UK Top 10 hit, “Lasting Lover” is another euphoric bop from the producer. Sampling MGMT’s “Time to Pretend”, the tune was originally written as an acoustic ballad by Lewis Capaldi.
Sigala worked on the track with James Arthur over Zoom without ever meeting due to lockdown restrictions, but the pair finally met on the set of the music video.
