Progressive soul singer Aryeè The Gem returns with whimsical new single “To It”, featuring captivating visuals from Los Angeles duo MOM.
Bursting onto the scene with her soulful debut “Spring”, Aryeè The Gem has since garnered hundreds of thousands of streams on all platforms. The track made waves on TikTok and announced her progressive musical outlook to the world, causing some early fenatacism and leaving people hungry to hear more. Returning with an exquisite R&B jam, titled “To It”, the singer is refining a visual and audible aesthetic that separates her further from the noise.
Building towards a debut solo EP, which will be released in the summer, Aryeè’s propensity for captivating music isn’t going unnoticed. “To It” is produced by Trakmatik, who’s worked closely with Snoh Alegra, Keyshia Cole and August Alsina, adding velvety melodies to the buttery vocals she sings. Analysing the notion of freedom, while self-reflectively relaying stories, the track comes alongside a compelling music video, directed by Los-Angeles based duo MOM.
Creating a cinematic experience that her music warrants, the visuals illustrate Aryeeè’s assertive and domineering nature as she navigates through life. On the track, she says: “[I] wanted to shine a light on those emotions that aren’t necessarily deemed as ‘positive’ and emphasize that those feelings are equally as important”.
