Press play on the brand new trailer for writer-director Emerald Fennell's upcoming psychological thriller drama.

Coming to a silver screen near you is Emerald Fennell’s upcoming psychological thriller drama, Saltburn. With an ensemble cast featuring Barry Keoghan, Jacob Elordi, Rosamund Pike, and more, the highly-anticipated film has finally got brand new trailer, one which teases a captivating exploration of obsession and opulence.

Set in the mid-2000s, the narrative revolves around Oliver Quick (Barry Keoghan), a perplexed Oxford University student. Quick’s infatuation with the aristocratic Felix Catton (Jacob Elordi) thrusts the plot into a realm of intrigue and disconcert, and takes us on a wild ride.

Emerald Fennell, acclaimed for her directorial finesse in Promising Young Woman, orchestrates this lurid tale. The film’s choice of setting in the early 2000s infuses it with somewhat of a period-piece aura, and the trailer is replete with the little quirks and fashions of the time. On top of that, the grandeur of the Drayton House in Northamptonshire, a previously untapped filming location, provides a uniquely opulent backdrop, with Linus Sandgren’s cinematography offering an intimate and immersive view.

After having its world premiere at the 50th Telluride Film Festival, Saltburn garnered critical acclaim for Fennell’s direction, the intricately crafted screenplay, and the remarkable performances by Keoghan and Pike – arguable maestros in the psycho-thriller genre. Now, its impending release on 17th November is poised to be a cinematic event to say the least.

From it’s slick visuals to it’s palpably chilling vibe, Saltburn promises to be an enigmatic yet intriguing thriller.
