We took over Troxy for the biggest party we've ever thrown with Anne-Marie, MØ, Ray BLK, Bondax and more in aid of Nordoff Robbins.

Just over a week ago we took over Troxy for the biggest summer party we’ve ever thrown. With cover stars MØ and Anne-Marie co-headlining, the night was a roaring success, selling out the venue and raising money for Nordoff Robbins in the process. We had back to back performances from the start of the night, with Bondax, Riton and Kah-Lo, M.O and Ray BLK all taking to the stage throughout the evening.

On one of the hottest days of the year, we had to make sure that there were enough refreshments inside Troxy and thanks to our sponsors BULLDOG Gin, Havana Club, Estrella Galicia, 19Crimes, Wild Turkey, SKYY Vodka and Jägermeister there were plenty on offer.

After hours of fans waiting outside the doors, Bondax opened the night a with a flawless selection of classic house and disco, complimenting Troxy’s art deco surroundings perfectly and warming up the crowd ahead of the night’s live performers. After a brief introduction to the evening from host Snoochie Shy, M.O took to the stage, keeping the classic vibes going with a set of 90s-inspired original material and a few old-school gems including a crowd-pleasing rendition of ‘No Scrubs’.

Taking things trans-continental, London via Lagos and NYC duo Riton and Kah-Lo turned Troxy into a carnival with their relentlessly upbeat bangers. Firm favourites ‘Rinse and Repeat’ and ‘Ginger’ went down a treat with their fusion of afrobeats, house and pop. Then it was time for a trip south of the river courtesy of Ray BLK. The South London soul singer slowed things down before we all overheated, charming the crowd with her undeniable voice and penchant for old-school influenced tunes.

Entering headliner territory, Anne-Marie burst onto the stage, backup dancers in tow. Her Essex charm immediately won over the three-thousand-strong audience as she ran through a hit-studded set that included ‘2002’and ‘Ciao Adios’ and closed with Clean Bandit collaboration/ former Christmas number one ‘Rockabye’. Leaving the stage to an explosion of pyrotechnics and confetti, Anne-Marie had proved herself a star.

It was down to Denmark’s MØ however to close the night. Known for her energy on and off stage, she didn’t disappoint at Troxy, throwing herself into the crowd midway through her performance and singing from amidst her fans. In a set that ran deep with hits, MØ never slowed down, highlighting the importance of Nordoff Robbins’ work during her final goodbye and performing tracks like ‘Sun In Our Eyes’, ‘Final Song’ and ‘Lean On’. Leaving the stage from the from the front rather than the side, her final act before she left was to hug one of her fans in the front row, exchanging a few final words before she vanished backstage.
