The LA-based singer-songwriter shares a brand new cut from his forthcoming EP1.

Released via LA label Independently Popular, “Angel Eyes” was co-produced by Grammy-nominated Robin Hannibal (Kendrick Lamar, Dvsn, Little Dragon), best known for being one half of the musical duo Quadron and founding member of Rhye. After shedding his previous musical moniker and reintroducing himself as the mighty Yore, he’s been jet-setting back and forth between LA and Europe in search of inspiration for the songs that make up EP1.

Hot on the heels of his breath-taking debut track, “Knew Better”, Yore says that on “Angel Eyes” he wanted to capture the essence of eye contact that bonds us. “There’s a fleeting moment when you look into the eyes of someone you love,” he says, “It’s a little scary, a bit infectious, somewhat mystical. That kind of raw intimacy is rare.” Just like Yore’s talent!
