Behind the Base welcomes Scottish singer-songwriter Bow Anderson, who chats making relatable music, her journey, and performs her single “Hate That I Fell in Love With You.”

Notion teams up with Pizza Express and music charity Nordoff Robbins to deliver the series Behind the Base, where you can get to know the UK’s brightest new musical talent a little better. Hear about how music has impacted their lives and watch exclusive live performances from each artist featured in the series.

Next up is burgeoning popstar Bow Anderson who has just been awarded Best Pop Act at the Scottish Music Awards. With streams in the millions – and famous fans in Sir Elton John and Cyndi Lauper – Bow is one of the most exciting new faces in pop today.

Keeping up in the kitchen, Bow whips up a delicious Padana Natale pizza while discussing her Motown inspirations, transitioning from dancing to singing after an injury and how important it is to make relatable music.

With an EP coming out soon, Bow Anderson also performs her hit “Hate That I Fell In Love With You”, chronicling the fine line between love and hate that can exist in a relationship.
