With her metaverse platform CY-B3LLA, Bella Hadid is launching 11,111 NFTs.

There’s no question that Bella Hadid is our generation’s reigning queen of looking consistently flawless in photos, be it candid pap shots or channeling completely different editorial characters. Now, instead of saving them on Instagram, you can buy your very own image of the supermodel.

Officially arriving in the metaverse, Hadid’s launched NFT platform CY-B3LLA in partnership with social capital system reBASE. The platform will host a range of 11,111 works up for purchase, made after 10 creatives were asked to create art from 3D scans of her body.

The images are designed to not only be collectable, but to form a collective and community for supporters of Hadid’s work. There’ll be a Discord app group chat around CY-B3LLA, and owning one of the NFTs will even act as a key to meet and greets with the model. “From one human to another… A connection is forming”, Bella said on Instagram. “See it. Feel it. Believe it.”

Ideas around the metaverse can still feel intimidating and remote, but Hadid’s CY-B3LLA is designed as a safe space to appreciate art — and her — connecting like-minded people in a unique and forward-looking way. Whatever your stance on the virtual world, we can’t argue with that.
