Star2 and HoodTrophy Bino link up for summer party anthem, "Go!"

Pairing up with LAs HoodTrophy Bino (from Soulja Boy’s Stacks on Deck Money Gang (SODMG), Asian-American singer, songwriter and rapper Star2 drops his latest high-octane single, “Go!”. Born into a refugee camp in Thailand, his story is one of not just talent and graft but turning to music in difficult times, which translates in his sound and message.

As the first single from his upcoming album, New Me, it’s the perfect track to warm up for summer — loud, brash and unapologetic, all in the name of a good time. “Are you feelin’ it?” Star2 asks us on the track, almost daring us not to. With West Coast vibes and an old-school hip-hop sensibility, blended with trap, kick-drum sounds and distorted 808s, it’s one to get the party going.

“We’re going to show you how the West Coast, California people be doin’ it!” Star2 says. “The kids are the dopest part,” Bino adds of the video — a nod to the gang of young skateboarders who spontaneously joined them whilst filming.
