From starring in 'Atlanta' to performing as Childish Gambino, Donald Glover can add shoe design to his repertoire after launching trainers with New Balance.

In the latest of celebrity design collaborations, New Balance has teamed up with Donald Glover to launch their collaborative footwear campaign. Perhaps better known under his musical-alias ‘Childish Gambino’, the star presents the New Balance RC30 in two colourways.

 

Glover trailed the collection with the animated visuals on his Instagram below:

A representative of New Balance, Joe Grondin, acknowledged the occurance of “celebrity-endorsed sneakers coming out every weekend”, whilst describing how they “thought Donald was a good collaborator for New Balance to take a more considered approach […] No loud colours or branding, just classic, easy-to-wear colourways of a new silhouette that fit Donald’s style.”

 

The trainers come in two colourways, mustard with white as well as navy with white, with a big 70s vibe overall. The New Balance RC30 Presented by Donald Glover are available on newbalance.co.uk.
