We get R&B's sensual new queen to select her top ten tracks after the release of her steamy new single "Get Mine".

Maida Vale native Kate Stewart is the perfect amalgamation of all the greats in R&B who have come before here – Whitney, Mariah and Lauryn Hill. Except she will always put that modern London edge over her tracks – think Frank Ocean producing Mariah’s ‘Butterfly’ and you will get Kate Stewart.

Already recognisable for her soothing harmonies, stylistic falsettos and heavenly riffs – Kate Stewart is on a trajectory set for the stars. Effortlessly merging nostalgic love songs with minimalistic production and an infectious beat – “Get Mine” is the perfect embodiment of Kate Stewart. Kate Stewart actually wrote Get Mine with three of her closest friends, MNEK, Ryan Ashley and Shift K3Y. Get Mine is the follow-up single from her debut EP released last year, In The Beginning. We can’t wait to hear what else comes from the songstress.

Speaking about her new single, Kate Stewart says: We had never written all together before, although we all write separately a lot of the time. We wrote the song in about an hour, and it soon became one of my favourite tunes I’ve ever made. It’s a very cheeky concept, we all really had a laugh when writing it. I feel like it brings out my personality, within the lyrics and the melodies.”

We will have “Get Mine” on loop as we wait in anticipation from what else is to come from the singer and until then, check out Kate’s top tracks below!
