The infamous 90s Ozweego created by Adidas is back and reimagined in five new colourways for those who just can't get enough of the 90s resurgence.
In the peak of summer, adidas Originals introduces the rebirth of the Ozweego trainer. Combining the iconic 90s-style runner silhouette with futuristic design and colours, adidas Originals new interpretation of the heritage OZWEEGO sneaker is re-worked for today’s loud and proud generation.
In this contemporary reimagining of the OZWEEGO silhouette, adidas looked to the OZWEEGO 3 sneaker of 1998 – a running shoe that was embraced by street culture. For the latest update of this silhouette, adidas Originals has identified the most innovative elements from the original OZWEEGO 3 design, such as adiPRENE and adiPRENE+ for maximum comfort.
With a distinctive eye stay panel, defined midsole lines, and translucent support tube, today’s OZWEEGO model offers a modern expression of the original design language and ethos of the OZWEEGO 3 sneaker. True to the materials of the period, today’s OZWEEGO model features a classic mesh, suede, and TPU construction across the upper, countered with fabric lining. With five brand new colourways to choose from, the sneaker now comes in futuristic black colours with Solar Green and orange accents as well as a striking full neon orange option, reminiscent of the era’s outlandish palette and vintage runner style.
The new OZWEEGO colourways release worldwide on August 8th 2019 here.
