Future Pop Queen Alice Chater returns with her explosive new single “Tonight” along with an infectious high-key visual.
Produced by Mark Ralph, “Tonight” is an insanely catchy summer banger that Alice and Martin Terefe wrote the day after a major event took place in London and made everyone step back and reflect. “We were reflecting on life, and thinking about what we’d want to do if this was our last day on earth. I was like, ‘I’d want to be with the person I love, and live my life to the absolute fullest until the very last second.’ And that’s really where the song came from,” Alice recalls.
The video for “Tonight” features some epic choreography and ultra-creative visuals that her growing fanbase has come to expect. Alice has a creative concept credit on the video – an important milestone for an artist who wants to keep progressing and developing the skills she needs to direct a video and, eventually, a film. We can see why! “This video is my version of a coven,” she explains. “We hired this big mansion to film in, and the video shows me and my witches doing ouija boards and spells and full-on choreography in different rooms. We’re all wearing very high-fashion, Vogue-style outfits, so it’s probably not like any coven you’ve seen before!”
