Rising afrobeats artist PaBrymo drops his eclectic sophomore EP, 'City Boy'.

Based in Cape Town, Nigerian afrobeats artist PaBrymo just dropped his sophomore EP. Over five tracks, the project, titled ‘City Boy’, represents a new evolution for the artist whilst staying true to the energy and passion he’s well known for.

 

Produced by long-term collaborators Rhedi, DibsTunes and DwillsHarmony, the project features artists including ODUMODUBLVCK, Seyi Vibez and Kida Kudz. Prioritising community and connection, PaBrymo’s network of influences and collaborators are essential to his identity as an artist. Their own perspectives are woven together with his, creating a vibrant patchwork of sounds and experiences. Blending afrobeats, dancehall and afrotrap, each of ‘City Boy”s tracks is a standout, coming together cohesively to make a statement that PaBrymo is well and truly on the rise.

 

I wanted to incorporate the highs of the lifestyle we’re living – the good and fun times, the vibes, women, and all that,” the artist shares. “I also want the entire world to hear the style, sound, and culture from Benin that has influenced my music today.
