Atlas Bird reveal the second song from their debut album, entitled "Kiss Away"
After emerging on the scene six years ago, Atlas Bird – comprised of Martin Schröder-Zabel and Axel Kunz – have shied away from releasing a full-length album, until now. With two EPs under their belt, over 100 live shows and a million streams on Spotify, the duo agree it is the right time.
Atlas Bird grew up listening to the guitar music of the 90s and early 00s and still project that traditional band disposition and attitude. Franz Plasa, who helped produce Atlas Bird’s debut album, has worked with the pair to help them reach their full musical range, with the album providing powerful ballads to help combat loneliness.
Following on from their percussive and captivating track “ONYX”, the pair reveal the second song from their album “Kiss Away”. Tracking the pain and regret that follows from not having a chance to tell a loved one your last words, the song ultimately champions finding peace. The accompanying video, starring actress Verena Noll, exemplifies the whole emotional spectrum between disturbance and liberation and succinctly portrays the essence of the song.
