Kamran Ramsden releases “Unfortunate Star”, a vintage-inspired exploration of toxic relationships.

Starting his musical journey aged ten listening to his dad’s collection, London-based artist Kamran Ramsden has come a long way since then. His latest single “Unfortunate Star” is brimming with classic 90s indie rock elements, for an exploration of the ‘unfortunate stars’ in all our lives.

Growing up listening to the likes of Led Zeppelin, Oasis and Queen, a desire to one day make his own music was born. Realising this dream by performing in various bands in and around his hometown, Kamran ventured to the London capital and in 2019 released his debut single “The Line”. Evolving from a DIY indie sound, his musical journey has been evident with every release.

Explaining the meaning of his new track, Kamran describes, “We all have unfortunate stars in our lives that guide us back to them, let this song be a reminder that you’re better off without yours!”. Referencing the nuances of toxic relationships, the chorus guitars and charming vocals pack a punch, for a tune that shows Kamran has his sights set on the big leagues.
