Electro-pop duo SIIGHTS release their single 'Blue Skies' into the world from their upcoming EP and we are hooked.
SIIGHTS are an electro-dreampop duo who are making infectious alt-pop anthems that leave you hooked from the moment you listen.
Lucky for us, their latest release ‘Blues Skies’ is a track that you can get lost in. However, the themes and narratives of the track weavers from grief, love and loss with an underlying message of hope always running through the track and keeping their spirit alive.
The multi-hyphenate artists write, record, sing and play everything they possibly can which is why their debut EP sounds entirely like their sound and their message. Speaking on the release, SIIGHTS revealed, “This song means a lot to us & was hard to write. We wrote it about some of what you feel & experience after losing someone close to you. We have both lost people close to us and it’s something that stays with you forever. We brought all our gear down to a country house in Wicklow to write and record this EP – Blue Skies really came together so naturally.”
