As another London Fashion Week gets into full swing, we've rounded up some events you won't need an exclusive invite for this weekend.

The season is upon us. As fashionistas and celebs from across the globe jet into the capital for the last of the ‘Big Four’ fashion weeks, often the scheduling can feel hard to get involved in without an invite. Don’t worry, we’ve rounded ways to get involved in the coming days that won’t have you begging security for a view of a runway.

Friday 17th February

Vogue x Snapchat: Redefining the Body Event

Curated by none other than Edward Enninful himself, this collaboration between Vogue and Snapchat aims to show how augmented reality can advance the realm of physical fashion. The immersive augmented reality experience features six of the world’s leading fashion brands and designers: Dior, Kenneth Ize, Richard Quinn, Stella McCartney, Thebe Magugu and Versace. Party at Footlocker 

Footlocker might not be the first brand that comes to mind when you think of Fashion Week, but the store are hosting a party celebrating LFW in their Marble Arch store. Promising a DJ, barbers, tooth gem station, drinks and food – it sounds worth checking out.

 

Time: 6pm – 9pm

 

Bleaq Fashion Showcase

Alt-collective Bleaq are taking over the old French Connection store in Covent Garden, showcasing the best new talent. Contact them ([email protected]) to attend their launch.

Saturday 18th February

London College of Fashion Exhibition

London College of Fashion (LCF), UAL, is hosting an exhibition that promises to immerse the visitor in displays of design, film, photography, VR and more from LCF’s boundary-breaking postgraduate students. Entry is free.

Museum of the Home Sustainability Workshops

Designer brand Anciela is creating an interactive installation made with Anciela’s textile waste that promotes ways of upcycling. During the day, there will also be demonstrations, workshops, videos and conversations about sustainability and upcycling in Fashion. Register here.

Visit the World’s Smallest Department Store

Opening today, Anya Hindmarch’s ‘The Village’ in Chelsea has welcomed a new storefront, The World’s Smallest Department Store. The new permanent concept harks back to the heyday of the traditional British department store, curating a series of capsule collections.

Sunday 19th February

The Creatives Runway Showcase

This season ‘the creatives’ will be showcasing very talented emerging designers with their AW/23 collections at a runway showcase during London Fashion Week, at a venue in in the heart of  Chelsea. Tickets can be found here.

Urban Outfitters X LFW City Wide Celebration 2023

As part of London Fashion Week’s City Wide Celebration, Urban Outfitters will be platforming emerging creatives and independent designers at their Oxford Street Store. If you’re after something different, this might be the shopping experience for you.
