Selected by Gorgon City

The production duo select the 10Trax they can't stop pressing play on.

Production duo Gorgon City are synonymous with absolute bangers. They’ve filled dance floors worldwide with an array of electronic masterpieces including “Ready For Your Love”, “Here For You” and “Go All Night”, all of which landed in the UK Top 20.

Today, they’ve released their brand new track, “Lick Shot”. It’s loud, bouncy and electrifying, with a heavy bassline. With undeniable floor-filler potential, it’s certain to bring much satisfaction to the crowd at Coachella when the duo take to the stage there in April. To warm them up for their Stateside stint, they’ve also got a string of sold-out show dates across the UK, which includes performances in Nottingham, Bristol and London’s Printworks.

To celebrate the release of their latest offering, we sit down with the twosome to unpick their top 10Trax of all time, from Jon Hopkins to Kyle Kinch.

Matt “RackNRuin” Robson-Scott

"Minimum" by Charlie Cunningham

"This is a downtempo song that really grabbed me when I first heard it. I find the lyrics are deep and speak of the temptations and dark places the music industry can entail."

"Hobson's Choice" by Active Minds

"This is a classic UK garage tune that will never get old. Always a bubbler."

"Manchester" by Kyle Kinch

"We singed a release by Kyle this year and this is his first release on our label Realm. It killed the dance floor in Amnesia this season at our residency at Together."

"Killing Me To Love You" by Vancouver Sleep Clinic

"I love the vibe and sonics of this tune. It's an emotional rollercoaster and builds really well."

"5 Dollars" by Huxley

"Huxley is a friend of ours and he submitted this one for our label and we love it. It will come out later this year on Realm."

Kye “Foamo” Gibbon

"What To Do (&ME Remix)" by Guy Gerber

"One of my favourite songs at the moment. I'm a bag fan of &ME and the Keinemusik crew. I love the vocal sample, and how long you have to wait for it to come in."

"Guilty Pleasure" by Denis Horvat

"Such a great synth line on this track. Infectious."

"Abidjan" by Red Axes ft Yakomin

"Makes me want summer to back."

"Regret" by Shinichi Atobe

"Another track that is so simple, but gets you locked into the vibe."

"Singularity (ANNA Remix)" by Jon Hopkins

"Hopkins is one of my favourite producers ever. His last two albums are mind-blowing. We've been a big fan of ANNA since she started out, and commissioned her to do a remix on our first album. She does a great job of turning this track into a huge techno banger."
