From powerhouse DJ producer Ben Westbeech and crate-digger royalty KON comes an exciting new collaboration by the name of The Vision.

Their first original EP, a double single, “Heaven/Home” lands this Friday, which blends old school soul and funk with modern house and disco. The tracks stand out not only due to their infectious disco hooks, but also by the obscure sampling and striking live vocals provided by Ben’s long-time collaborator Andreya Triana.

The first single, “Heaven”, is a funk heavy disco bop, whereas “Home” is a smooth soulful ballad – combined, the EP cements The Vision as multitalented name to watch. Needless to say, don’t be surprised if you hear these tracks on a dancefloor very soon.

On how they came to start working together, Ben Westbeech said: “We met at the Southport weekender. I was singing with Jazzanova and I believe KON was there eating fish & chips with Moodymann and Gilles Peterson watching the show.”
